Hello fellow paper crafting friends! Today I’m sharing my 10 Best Card Making Videos of 2020. I’ve compiled this list by views, watch time and other measures. Enjoy!
#10. Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month March 2020
In this video I share several card making ideas using the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month, Feeling Hoppy. Feeling Hoppy was a generous card making kit introducing light and airy spring time colors. Lots of cute bunny, flower and heart stickers and die-cut shapes in this one!
#9. DIY Card Making Tutorial – Slimline Christmas Card | Spellbinders August 2020 | Becca Feeken APG
This was one of my first attempts at making a slimline card! For this card making tutorial I used the die-set from the Christmas Cascade Collection by Becca Feeken. This was an August release from the Amazing Paper Grace collection by Becca Feeken. Click here for more slimline card making tutorials and ideas.
#8. DIY Card Making Tutorials by Decor8yourlife
Although this Top 10 Card Making Video includes a summary of projects throughout the year, it was well received and it deserves recognition!
#7. Card Making Ideas – Easel Card Making Idea featuring APG Becca Feeken | DIY Cards by Decor8yourlife
This card making ideas video was made using the August Spellbinders Club Kits. I must say that my favorite was and continues to be the dimensional telephone die-set by Becca Feeken! Sorry friends, this one sold out within days of us posting our DT videos! Click here to see more pictures of this beautiful easel card!
#6. Card Making Tutorial – Christmas Easel Card Tutorial feat Dies and Stamps from Christina Griffiths
I just love die-sets from Card Making Magic by Christina Griffiths. They’re elegant, intricate and very girly. Just my style! You may find everything Christina Griffiths by clicking here.
#5. Christmas in July Ideas #6 | Handmade Christmas Cards 2020 | DIY Christmas Cards 2020 | Spellbinders
Here’s my attempt at ink blending! Yup! In my card making channel not only do you get my small paper crafting successes but my attempts as well! LOL I’m not afraid to share my learning process with my subscribers. I figure, when we are born we don’t automatically get up and walk. Same with paper crafting. You don’t automatically develop the skill to ink, blend and color. It’s funny that this card making video made it to the middle of my 10 best list!
#4. Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month February 2020
Even though my style leans more toward the elegant and intricate die-cutting designs, I don’ mind dabbling with the clean and simple lines as well. In February I used the monthly kit, Unicorn Dreams, to do just that. Click here to see more of what I made with this Spellbinders Club Kit.
#3. Graphic 45 Clock Frame Easel Card Tutorial | Handmade Cards Quick and Easy
If you’ve been following my blog and YouTube channel for a while, you’ll know that it’s no secret that I love to make intricately designed easel cards. Like many paper crafters out there, I’m the curator of fine paper crafting supplies! (LOL) and I love to play with my intricate dies to see how else I can use them. So when the opportunity arises, I make an easel card!
The steps to making shaped easel cards is rather easy once you get the hang of it. I encourage you to look through your crafty stash and find other ways that you can use your most loved die-sets! Click here to see more pictures of this popular Graphic 45 Card Making Tutorial.
#2. Christmas Tags – Graphic 45 Altered Tags with Die-sets from Spellbinders
Christmas in July is one of my most favorite times of the year! Why you may ask? Because I begin my Christmas crafts! Not only did this become one of my very well received videos of 2020, but the project pictures became some of my most popular ones across social media! You may ask, but this is not a card making project… why include it on your list? My answer is simple: Because I’ve been known to make greeting cards out of tags previously made.
#1. Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month Tutorial January 2020
January 2020 marked the beginning of a horrible year for many of us. We watched as many of our friends lost their jobs, livelihoods and family members due to COVID. Throughout 2020 our family lost 5 members, and I had to face an unforeseen illness head on. And although it’s been quite a rough road for us all, and Heavenly Father has given many of us a pretty heavy cross to bear, it is through hope and positivity that we rise through the ashes of 2020, and rebuild our lives together.
And this my friends is why I craft. Paper crafting has become my passion, my venue of self-expression and my escape. Had it not been for my belief in the scriptures and my adamant paper crafting, I honestly couldn’t tell you what the state of my psyche would be at this point. And I have a hunch that many of you can relate. Let’s take all of our experiences and everything that we have learned about ourselves in 2020 to make a positive impact in 2021.
Friends, I present to you my most watched, most loved #1 card making video of 2020.
