Whispers Journal Kit by Decor8yourlife: Soft, Vintage Inspiration for Creative Journals

✨ NEW • Whispers Journal Kit ✨

There’s something about soft colors, worn edges, and quiet details that makes you slow down without realizing it 🤍

Whispers is our very first digital junk journal kit, created for those moments when you want to sit with your thoughts, layer a page gently, and let the process be the point.

This collection grew out of our Whispers scrapbook paper pack and was reimagined specifically for journal makers who love romantic pages, subtle texture, and pieces that work beautifully together without feeling busy.

It’s the kind of kit you reach for when you want your journal to feel calm, personal, and a little bit nostalgic 🌿

If you’re curious about how this kit came to be and the different ways people are using it in their journals, I shared more thoughts and ideas recently ✨

Gift-Wrapping Ideas You Can Use Right Now

Today I’m shariing a few of my favorite gift-wrapping ideas — the kind that feel simple, soft, and handmade. If you love cozy textures, pretty ribbons, and that little vintage touch, you’ll enjoy this one.

Everything I used was either from my stash or leftover scraps, and I promise the process is super simple. A layered ribbon here, a handmade tag there, and suddenly your gift looks like something out of a boutique.

The full tutorial is now on my blog if you want to take a look.

How a Perpetual Calendar Turned into a Birthday Card – Project Share

Turning a forgotten project into something brand new always feels good… but this one feels extra special. 💖

Remember the perpetual calendar I made with all the monthly tags? I took it apart and turned every tag into a handmade birthday card that will be donated to a local church for their monthly birthday celebrations. 🥹🎂

In the tutorial I’m sharing how I:
• turned the calendar tags into card fronts
• used simple pastel mats for a clean, finished look
• added a pretty punched border for that “inlaid” frame
• used fun foam for budget-friendly dimension

It’s a sweet mix of use your stash + make something that makes someone’s day.

Would you repurpose an old project like this? Or would you keep the calendar as is?
