My Very First Blog Only Contest

Over the years I’ve blogged about a gazillion paper crafting ideas and tutorials; and although I appreciate your wonderful comments and visits, I want to turn my blog into something bigger. I want my blog to have more of an interactive nature. I want it to be a place where you can share YOUR paper crafting ideas with pictures of your projects.

New Comments Section on my Blog

In the hopes of making my blog more “interactive”, I’ve tested several forms and plug-ins and I’m happy to say that I found just the right one that fits our needs! Not only will you be able to comment and UPLOAD pictures of YOUR project, but you’ll be able to vote on other projects that are uploaded as well!

***IMPORTANT NOTE*** Because I’m giving the public the ability to upload picture files in my blog, I must exercise due-diligence and manually approve every comment that is submitted to this website. Also be aware that once your comments are approved, your comments along with any pictures attached become part of the world wide web.

Going forward, when adding your comment to my blog you’ll have the opportunity to subscribe to the post by clicking on the “Subscribe” icon first. If you choose to subscribe, you will be sent an email each time someone responds to your comment/picture. Below is a screenshot of what I’m referring to.

Contest Giveaway Rules

What you need to know about my Memorydex Blog Contest Giveaway:

• You must be 18 years old or better.
• You must use a valid email address.
• Giveaway is open anywhere where store(s) deliver to.
• Winner is responsible for shipping costs, taxes, and whatever else the government wants to collect from you.
• Project must be NEW. This means you have never shown this memorydex card before.
• Upload a clear picture of your project in the comments section of this post. Upload only in jpg or jpeg form. Maximum file size 256MB.
• You may also add a video response to your comment by providing the link to your VR in your comment! YAY!
• You get 1 point for uploading a picture and 1 point for a video response on your YouTube channel.
• Video responses are not necessary but they are appreciated.
• You must come back and check here to see if you’re a winner.
• It’s the winner(s) responsibility to contact me, within a reasonable amount of time, otherwise the winner forfeits his/her prize.

Last Thoughts

In the past I’ve come across some who have voiced their opinions regarding my giveaways; and although my giveaways are a personal choice and a way for me to express gratitude towards those who support me, I still think about those folks who may feel left out from participating. It is my hope that this method of contest submission is inclusive to all who wish to participate.
