Easy Layered Paper Rosettes Using Dies You Already Own | A Beautiful Alternative to Traditional Rosettes

🙋‍♀️ Can I confess something?

For years, I struggled with making traditional paper rosettes.

I’d spend all that time scoring and folding, only to glue everything together and somehow end up with a rosette that was more oval than circle. 😂

So I finally stopped fighting with them.

Instead, I started layering dies I already had in my stash, mixing paper scraps, glitter cardstock, watercolor paper, and a little fun foam to create dimensional embellishments that are quick, easy, and completely customizable.

I shared my favorite method in today’s brand-new tutorial, and I also wrote a new blog post with extra designer tips, inspiration, and ideas for using these layered rosettes on your own projects.

These embellishments were created using papers from my **Honey Bees & Summer Breeze** collection, and I can’t wait to show you what they’ll become in next week’s Cozy Summer project. 🌼🐝

Journaling Pocket for Ephemera & Memory Keeping

🐝💕 One of my favorite things about paper crafting is discovering how different elements can come together to tell a story.

For this Cozy Summer project, I created a whimsical loaded envelope filled with cottage charm, sweet bee imagery, soft pink accents, layered embellishments, and lots of dimensional details.

What started as a simple loaded envelope quickly turned into a cozy little scene complete with a bee cottage, picket fence, butterflies, clouds, and plenty of places to tuck away journaling cards, tags, notes, ephemera, and other creative treasures.

I love projects that are both beautiful and useful, and this one could easily become a decorative pocket for memory keeping, creative journaling, happy mail, or simply storing your favorite paper crafting goodies.
